 The consortium of 6 partners is starting the first main activity of The Inclusionist project, a training course of 25 youth workers, 5 of them with disabilities, from 5 European countries: Albania, Italy, North Macedonia, Romania and Serbia.

The Inclusionist is an Erasmus+ Youth multi-activity project, financed by the European Union and developed by Asociatia Babilon Travel in partnership with Azbuki Serbia, Directia de Asistenta Sociala si Medicala Cluj, Projekte Vullnetare Nderkombetare Albania, Mreza za Dozivotno Ucenje North Macedonia and Associazione ONLUS L'Albero della vita Italy.

The aim of the project is to promote and foster social inclusion of young people with disabilities and fewer opportunities, with focus on independent living. 

To achieve its objectives, the project will implement two main activities: a training course in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, between November 2 - 9, 2019 and a youth exchange in Cluj-Napoca, between April 25 – May 3, 2020. All these activities will involve mixed groups of disabled and non-disabled participants.

            The first main activity, the training course will increase capacities of youth workers with and without disabilities on how to contribute on independent living  and inclusion of people with disabilities and fewer opportunities, focus on some soft skills young people with disabilities should practice to improve their independent living, employability, accessibility  and inclusion. The participants will also plan the upcoming youth exchange.

The official opening of the meeting will be on Sunday, November 3, 2019, 10:00 AM, at Hotel Onix (str. Albini nr. 12).
